enough said. The depth adjustment seems to constantly unlock at the wrong time disabling the trigger while something is being held in the air. Lots of time wasted clearing jambs. On one deck job shortly after I purchased this gun I came back from an errand to find the guys hand nailing the structure rather than use this gun. I've owned this gun for a year and half. Lots of misfires, double shots, shooting out of the bottom of the gun etc. I really don't have anything good to say about the gun.
I'm not an experienced user of framing guns, but this things seems to work great. Although reconditioned, the tool looked like new.
not at all like my finish nailer (from Dewalt). but the safety lock is impossible to switch. I have to keep something handy to apply leverage.Still a great deal though.
I must admit I buy tools as I need them and try to sell some or keep as necessary. I thought I would never need it again.
As a do it yourselfer I buy Dewalt since their prices are decent. The dewalt is a little rough around the edges, but it never disappoints.
I should have kept the PC. Comparatively speaking the Dewalt seems less finely tuned as a PC, but still feels sturdy.
Bought this to make light work of a shed project. I did this with a similar Portercable nailer.
I bought refurbished and it looked brand new.
I highly recomend this unit. It is a reconditioned unit. I have put up a 12 x 12 shed with this nailer and it worked great. This is my first framing nailer so I don't have a lot of experience with them, but I do know that I had no problems with this unit. It arrived in excellent shape and I am very happy with the quality especially when considering all the money I saved by purchasing a reconditioned unit.
